- Does Blepo own their own building?
A: No. We are very proud to say that we are located in the Aspen Communication colo hotel located in Downtown Fort Worth. Our building at 307 W 7th Street features direct fiber connections to 2323 Bryan in Dallas (thereby giving access to 65+ carriers and service providers), three independent fiber entry points, redundant power systems (back-up generators, automatic transfer switch, UPS system, independent breakers etc.), multiple layers of security, and 100% uptime of internet access.
- What is included in the setup fee?
A: We will install your server and assign up to 5 justifiable (approved by Blepo) IP’s. Additional support should be arranged prior to setup.
- From the time of signup how long does installation take?
A: We ask for 48 hours. With your assistance in providing complete information we can often be ready in a shorter time frame.
- Can I have equipment shipped directly to Blepo?
A: Yes, just make sure it has your name in the address and send your equipment to: Attn:Blepo 307 W 7th Street Suite 300 Fort Worth, TX 76102
- Do you have 24/7/365 support for reboots?
A: Yes. We offer reboots within 15 minutes during normal business hours and within 2 hours after business hours.
- What is the fee for tech support?
A: We offer one hour of complimentary tech support each month to our colocation clients; additional support can be purchased for just $75/hour.
- Does Blepo charge for IPs?
A: We offer all of our clients complimentary IPs (as long as they are justifiable by Blepo standards). Each additional IP is $10.
- Will I be able to send mail from Blepo IPs?
A: Yes, however we forbid illegal activity including spamming, surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk e-mail, etc.
- What is Blepo's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)?
A: Blepo forbids illegal internet activity including the dissemination or promotion of pornography, harvesting third party information without consent,
the violation of legal rights (to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten), transmitting or uploading any material containing viruses or any other harmful or deleterious programs, etc.
- How strict is Blepo about Acceptable Use Policies (AUP)?
A: Blepo is extremely strict with regards to our Acceptable Use Policies. AUP violations must be immediately resolved or the offending account will be indefinitely suspended and will continue to be billed through the remainder of its contract. This strict policy helps ensure that our customers will not be negatively affected by the actions of others.
- Is there a UPS in place?
A: Yes, all of the racks within the data center are powered by UPS and backup generators.
- Can you install an external firewall?
A: Yes.
- What kind of speeds should we expect?
A: 3MBPS with a 10MB burst.
- Can I modify my service plan if my needs change in the future?
A: No problem. As long as both parties agree, we even allow you to change the pricing for the previous month.
